Calcium Nitrate Fertilizer
Calcium nitrate is a fast-acting, unique fertilizer containing nitrate nitrogen and fully water-soluble calcium for fertilizing all greenhouse and garden plants through watering or foliar spraying.Calcium is the building material of plant cells and is necessary for the formation of new cells. As a result of calcium deficiency, young leaves become deformed and pale, later drying out.Calcium also affects the disease resistance of plants and the shelf-life properties of flowers, berries, and vegetables. It is especially suitable for fertilizing young plants, as well as for fertilizing plants in their final growing location.
Directions for use
Dissolve the powder in water and water the plants with the prepared solution, alternating with tomato, cucumber, or flower, berry, and vegetable fertilizers.Fertilization by wateringIn the greenhouse: 1-20 g/10 L of watering water.Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers: 1st fertilization at the beginning of fruit formation.Outdoors: 10-20 g/10 L of watering water.Apple and pear trees: 1st fertilization 5-6 weeks after flowering.Currants, gooseberries, raspberries, strawberries: 1st fertilization after flowering. For foliar feeding, use a 1% solution (2 tsp per 1 L of water). When spraying, avoid hot, sunny weather; spray on a cloudy day, in the morning, or in the evening.Regular, weekly sprayings are necessary during the fruit growth period, as calcium is immobile within the plant.Apples are sprayed with a 0.5-1% solution, starting with the lower concentration from the beginning of June until 3 weeks before harvest.Add 1-20 g to 10 L of water.
