Sunflower
A very attractive medium-sized sunflower variety with a large inflorescence, with a greenish core and lemon-yellow tongue flowers. In addition to the large main inflorescence, side shoots develop from the leaf axils, which are crowned by smaller inflorescences. Blooms from July to September. The seeds are very rich in oil. It is also grown as a catch crop. Forms a large biomass. Improves soil structure and suppresses weeds. With a deep root plan. Plant height 100-150 cm.
Directions for use
Growing sunflowers is easy. Prefers a warm and sunny growing location. Sunflower is not demanding in terms of soil fertility, growing well in both sandy and clay soils. Seeds are sown in April in a pot or in May directly in the growing location. Sowing rate 100-140 g/100 m2. Planting density: 8 plants/m2. Sowing depth: 2-3 cm.
