Perlite is a volcanic rock that is suitable for the composition of sowing soil, for covering seeds, for rooting of cuttings, as well as for winter storage of vegetables and flower bulbs and for drainage in flower pots. Water capacity 97.1%. Improves the structure of the growth substrate and increases the water capacity. By creating a good humidity and air regime in the soil, it reduces both under- and over-watering hazards. By covering the soil in flower pots with perlite, it is possible to compensate for the lack of light in winter, as the light is reflected back from the snow-white perlite and amplifies its real strength. Also suitable for use in organic farming.
