IronMax Pro, a granular molluscicide, is a ready-to-use bait for controlling snails and slugs in vegetable, fruit, and ornamental gardens, greenhouses, and agricultural crops. When using IronMax Pro, personal protective equipment must be worn: protective gloves and clothing. IronMax Pro granules can be scattered by hand or using a mechanical spreader. It is recommended to start control measures before the mass appearance of pests and damage to plants occurs. Ensure that granules do not remain on leaves, blossoms, or other parts of the plant.IronMax Pro is suitable for the protection of many crops: – Vegetables (e.g., beet, carrot, cabbage, pea, bean, onion, garlic) – Leafy vegetables and herbs (e.g., lettuce, spinach, basil, parsley) – Greenhouse crops (e.g., tomato, cucumber, bell pepper, melon, watermelon) – Cereals and oilseeds – Lawns and pastures.Application period: from 7 days before planting/sowing until harvest.Application rate: the maximum application rate per application is 7 kg/ha or 70 g/100 m². Interval between applications: at least 5 days. If repeated control is necessary, for example, if the granules are eaten or new offspring appear, there must be an interval of at least 5 days between applications. The product may be used on a single crop up to a maximum of 28 kg/ha (280 g/100 m²) per year. For best results, use before damage occurs. For annual crops, it is recommended to apply control measures before plant emergence. Scatter the product onto soil prepared for sowing. Due to the effect of iron(III) phosphate, slugs that have consumed the bait crawl underground, where they die; therefore, dead slugs are not visible. The effect of the control may not be immediately observable. The product’s efficacy in controlling Arion lusitanicus (Spanish slug) has not been proven.NB! Always read the product label before use.
