Only pests crawling over it stick to the green glue of the glue belt. The glue belt repels all insects that crawl along the trunk, such as common coldwort (Operophtera brumata) – one of the main pests of fruit trees; ants (Lasius sp. Etc.); nutcracker (Curculio nucum) – can greatly reduce yields; woodcock (Xyloborus dispar and others) – lives on different tree species; snowdrop (Apocheima pilosaria) – damages various deciduous plants, including fruit trees; cherry blight (Myzus cerasi, M. prunavium) – a strip of glue repels the first attack of this pest.
