Sainfoin

Sainfoin is an xcellent cover crop, ornamental and honey plant. Enriches the soil with nitrogen. Gives a lot of green mass, suppresses weeds. Thanks to the strong and well-developed root system, it improves the soil. Drought resistant and disease resistant. Acidic and peat soils are not suitable. A very good honey plant. Average honey productivity 100 – 280 kg/ha. Due to its striking pink flowers, it is often included in perennial flower meadow mixtures.

Sowing rate: 6-8 g/1 m2 (as pure sowing), 1-2 g/1 m2 (mixed sowing). It is sown from May on. Sowing depth 1–1.5 cm. Grows to a height of 90 – 120 cm. Blooms in July. Perennial
