Lawn fertilizer with moss remover is a specialized fertilizer for mossy lawns. It works by causing a rapid, short-term drop in the pH level of the topsoil. Moss cannot tolerate sudden changes in pH and turns brown. Simultaneously, the nitrogen in the fertilizer promotes healthy grass growth.
Apply 1-2 times from early spring, when the grass begins to emerge, until mid-summer (March to July). Scatter the fertilizer evenly over the dry lawn in mossy areas and allow it to take effect for a few days. Rake the browned moss out of the lawn. Fill the resulting bare patches with soil and sow new grass seed on top. It is not recommended for use during droughts or periods of heavy rain. The iron in the product may cause brown rust stains on clothing, patios, curbstones, and paving slabs when exposed to moisture. In case of accidental spillage, remove by sweeping dry. APPLICATION RATE: For prevention: 6-8 kg/100 m2. If moss is present: 1.5-2 kg/10 m2
