Lawn fertilizer with moss remover is a specialized treatment for moss-covered lawns. Its action is based on causing a rapid, temporary drop in the pH level of the topsoil. Moss cannot tolerate sudden changes in pH and turns brown. At the same time, the nitrogen in the fertilizer promotes healthy lawn growth.
Apply 1-2 times from the time the grass begins to sprout in early spring until mid-summer (March to July). Spread the fertilizer evenly over mossy areas on a dry lawn and allow it to take effect for a few days. Rake the browned moss out of the lawn. Fill the resulting bare spots in the grass with soil and sow new grass seed over them. It is not recommended for use during droughts or periods of heavy rain. Upon contact with moisture, the iron in the product may cause brown rust stains on clothes, terraces, curbstones, and paving slabs. In case of an accidental spill, sweep it away dry. APPLICATION RATE: For prevention: 6-8 kg/100 m2. For existing moss: 1.5-2 kg/10 m2.
