Magnesium sulphate, or bitter salt, helps to recover from winter damage to conifers and deciduous trees and shrubs. Magnesium deficiency can occur in a wide variety of plants, both in the greenhouse and in the garden.

To eliminate winter damage on trees, shrubs, mix 100-150 g / m² evenly and lightly into the soil from early spring to the end of June. Spraying plants with a fertilizer solution has a quick effect. To do this, mix 20 g (2 heaped teaspoons) of fertilizer with 10 l of water. Spray once a week from early spring to the end of June until the signs of damage disappear. When planting trees, 75 g / 100 l of soil can be mixed into the planting soil. To irrigate the greenhouse plants during the growing season, dissolve 5 to 10 g of fertilizer in 10 l of water (0.05 to 0.1% solution). To irrigate the plants in the garden (beauty and utility garden), 10–20 g of fertilizer is dissolved in 10 l of water (0.1–0.2% solution). Dissolve 20 g of magnesium sulphate in 10 l of water for spraying. 1 kg = 100 m².
