Iron Sulphate for Lawn

Iron sulfate, or iron vitriol, helps to strengthen the grass and thus a denser green lawn surface is obtained. The iron content of iron vitriol plays an important role in biological processes that feed on plants, improving grass growth. Iron vitriol is based on natural minerals and does not burn grass. In order to strengthen the lawn, the lawn must be limed in spring or autumn, and to encourage grass growth, it must be fertilized with lawn fertilizer in spring, summer and autumn.

Manual

To care for mossy grass, fine granules of iron sulfate are sown on the lawn at 3 kg per 300 m2 or dissolved in water at a ratio of 200 g per 10 l of water and watered with it on a 20 m2 lawn. After using iron sulfate, the moss turns black because the acidity in the upper soil layer increases. The black moss is raked out of the lawn and the voids in the lawn are filled with soil and new lawn seed is sown. It is not recommended to use during drought and rainy season.DURATION OF USEFrom April to October as needed.NB! The iron in the product can cause brown rust stains on clothing, patios, curbs and paving slabs when exposed to moisture. In case of a mistake, remove with a dry wipe.
