Rocket Salad

Arugula (American English) or rocket (British English) is an edible annual plant which is popular as a salad vegetable and as a condiment. The juicy leaves can be eaten raw or steamed, they can be added to salads, soups, meat dishes or used as a garnish. The leaves are rich in vitamins, minerals, trace elements and other useful substances.

Arugula can be grown indoors on the windowshill, in the greenhouse or in the garden. Seeds germinate fast and plants grow quickly. First leaves can be picked already three to four weeks after sowing. Sow new seeds every 2 to 3 weeks for a continuous harvest
